For those who want to find out more about some of the movie characters, Marvel has a great series out which has almost everything you needed to know about X-Men characters and other Marvel characters.

Each hero has its own book and figurine. There are plenty of X-Men characters among the heroes on offer.

Well worth getting. The Storm one isn't that brilliant (the book doesn't have enough in it) but the rest are excellent. Wolverine, Magneto, Colossus, Rogue, Iceman, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Cyclops etc.... A great way for people to 'catch up' on the characters. The book focuses only on the comicbook version, not on the movie version.

i saw the iceman one in the shop window today. i looks great in the photo but its timy so none of the detail can be seen. it just looked like moulded chewing gum- not worth it. i can't speak for the magazine though

The figures are very small. The 20-page magazine/book is excellent!

Yeah I've got a couple. But none of my local shops sell them :( , so I think I'll wait until all the ones I want are available, then just order them from the website.

You should definitely check out the magazines. There's always a few pages in there about how the figurines are made, it really is impressive work, all hand-crafted, painted etc. It's good stuff.

I brought thr Scott and Jean one, the book which goes with it is good.

they look pretty cool, love the phoenix one.....

if youre not in the UK- id check ebay!

I'm in the UK and have several of them. Storm, Cyclops, Colossus, Phoenix, Rogue, Iceman, Magneto. Haven't yet got Beast or any others. There was a limited Juggernaut edition too.

As I said, the figurines are very small. But the 20-page booklets are excellent. (although the Storm one was not as good as the others).

do they ship to the US?

Probably.

Click on USA . . . it looks like you should just be able to go to one of your local comic shops listed under the store locator and pick them up. If not, you can probably just order them online. I'm sure various places will ship them to you.

rogue looks dark around the eyes

Ooh...I want them all :p I wonder if they're for sale online anywhere?

Edit: Yup it's available for pre-order online @ Midtown Comics. www.midtowncomics.com just go to the 'Toys' section or do a search for "Classic Marvel Figurine Collection". $12.00 each. It says "Advance order item" so I'm assuming it's pre-order

i ordered rogue through forbiddenplanet.co.uk, they ship internationally.

Omg I must get my hands on the Jean, Rogue, Black Cat, and Venom ones

Be warned though, the figurines are VERY small. They are fixed in position and fixed to the stand. The magazines are stunningly good. Although the Storm booklet disappointed me a little.

I wish they'd done an Alcatraz and GG Bridge set so we could put the figures on it!

Aww, so they aren't like barbie sized? :csad: :cmad:

AND you can't remove them off the stand? :cmad:

I wanted to play with them :csad: :oldrazz:

Is there one for Kitty, and what's wrong with the one for Storm?
