I recently reread Batman: The Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory - but I've never read Loeb and Sale's companion piece Catwoman: When in Rome. I know that it takes place during Selina's 6 months absence from Gotham in DV.

Does it add anything to DV?

Is it any good in its own right?

Thanks.

I read it and I like it. but I find it a bit weak. For me, it adds nothing to Dark victory. but if you're a fan of both LH and DV, then yeah it adds a very slight complementing intel. Nothing to really care about IMO.
But the art ? Ah, This is the reason I bought it. A leather feline girl in Roma. That, was neat. And the art is great. I love Tim Sale.
My point of view is this : it's kind of a weak story, but if you are willing to go further in knowing a specific universe and the stories and all, yeah it always pays to have read the proper books. :)

Thank you Clarky, I think I'll pick it up
