Shout out to all the posters here from The Big Easy. Having been there a few times myself, from eating delicious food (crawfish, jambalaya, beignets) to taking part in special attractions (steamboat rides, carriage rides, swamp tours) to visiting historical places, I can see why it was the place to be.

Congratulations to your tricentennial. It took me awhile to recover from Bourbon Street.

I've heard it's a lovely city, haven't ever been myself (heck, I haven't even been to America yet) - it's on my 'to do' list for 2019 though; NYC. My single concern (for New Orleans) would be the amount of Jazz; I'm not overly fond of that style of music.
