Scientology is not any crazier than any other religion. I mean seriously. They are celebrities, and like all other people they are just looking for a place where they belong. I would imagine everyone has this voice of reason that causes them to doubt things that seem over the top or "too good to be true"...but it does not stop people from believing or committing to these things.

...and at least most of them (cough*Tom Cruise*cough) are not arrogant a$$holes about it.

Yeah, I know that. But you've got to have a screw loose somewhere to join a religion that is obviously FAKE. It can be PROVEN to be fake, that it's a bunch of made up mumbo jumbo.

When it comes to the Bible you can't necessarily PROVE that it's all fake, or a lie.

I know what you mean though. Everybody has the freedom to believe what they want to believe in. And while many of those actors may not "push" it on anyone. There are people who DO as if Scientology is a real thing. As do Christians. And Catholics. And so on and so on.

I don't know every detail about Scientology but, what it sounds like, is a crazy cult for celebrities to go where they won't be bothered by people.

I'm not in support of Scientology, but that seriously seems like he made all of it up. Except for the Boedhi taking a swing at him, cause I would have done the same.
Roecker took it too far.
There is funny, and then there is cruel, and what he did was cruel.

agreed like i said the t-shirt was too far, but with the reports of how a lot of these people act, i wouldnt say its not that too far fetched

dont know that was the first link i clicked on, do a search for the event, honstly i'm not all that fussed:o

I get that, when you look at the contents, Scientology looks no crazier than any other major religion. I'm a Christian, and even I'm willing to admit that a disembodied voice named Elohim creating the universe in a week by barking orders at a bunch of winged people sounds about as far-fetched as you can get.

However, at least my religion wasn't started a few decades ago by a science fiction writer that makes Dean Koontz look like Stephen King.
