You wanna talk about a potential cult classic of a film? Make a live action version of the indie comic Cerebus, and don't sugarcoat it either. It should be an unabashed, smart-ass, violent, possibly r-rated film. Cerebus has to have a great, gritty voice too. He has to sound like the cigar-smoking, beer-guzzling little ******* of an aardvark that he is. I even think that they should leave the offensive material in it. Let's petition for it!

Wow a Cerebus movie would just be....wow. If only I could be assured they don't **** with it and turn it into a kid-friendly talking aardvark movie.

I highly doubt Dave Sim would allow that. He had opportunities to take Cerebus past the indie market and passed up, he'll pass on the movie studios making him into a kiddie movie.
