Microsoft seems to be rather unspectacular in this year's CES so far. And although Apple doesn't attend CES their upcoming tablet is getting alot of buzz right now.

Apple must be patting themselves on the back.

The Microsoft-HP tablet looked pretty disappointing, it's basically a color e-reader running Amazon Kindle software. In fact it's so disappointing that Microsoft and HP's shares fell yesterday according to BusinessWeek.

Microsoft fell 38 cents to $30.39 at 1:21 p.m. New York time in Nasdaq Stock Market trading. The shares rose 57 percent last year. Hewlett-Packard, which advanced 42 percent last year, added 14 cents to $52.32 on the New York Stock Exchange.
