Oh god I hate to be negative but I'm just not excited about Boseman at T'challa. Yeah I've seen him in 42 and a little bit of him as James Brown and while he did a good job in 42 and from what little I saw of him in Get On Up he just comes across as way to Americanish. I don't know where he's from but based on how he talks he's from somewhere in the south probably, like Ga, AL or maybe even FL. It's a black thing, most of us can tell. I can generally tell what parts of the US another black person is from for the most part. The south, the Detroit or Chicago midwest region, I know. The only people who can fool me is someone who may have been born in a said state but was raised from a child somewhere else or a gay dude(no offense). Don't get on my back it's true and i know it shouldn't have nothing to do with Boseman's talent but he's just not BP, but I'm glad for him that he got the job and i support him 100%. I also hope he proves me wrong like Marvel did with GOTG.
I would've been happy if he was cast as John Stewart, Falcon or War Machine, but as BP?? I'm sorry but no. He doesn't have a regalness to him that's needed as BP. I just don't get the feeling that he can run a country and go toe to toe with Tony Stark in a war of words and intellect where as someone like Elba or Ejiofor can.
