Champions Online

I REALLY like the upgrade degredation penalty for defeat

Not as bad as debt in COH

I'm liking the idea of Checkpoints now instead of a hospital some 3,000 miles away.:o

So is there gonna be **** to equip, or is it going to be like CoH/V where theres no items,

New screenshots.

^^ And that's completely fine with me, CoH rocked. But I'm pretty sure we'll get more options for costumes this time around.

I love those screenshots. For some reason in the last pic, I keep thinking it looks like FrostFires hideout LOL:oldrazz:

God, flying back from the hosp was annoying
Even more annoying was getting knocked out in a hazard zone, and ending up in a hospital in the next zone. You'd have to fly from the hospital to the zone entrance, fly across the next zone to the mission entrance...

And heaven forbid it was early on in the game, and you died in the Hollows. You literally had to jog the whole way.

Yeah, back when you hung out in the Hollows you were a few levels away from a travel power. Really made you appreciate level 14 lol.

this game seems to be building up to be the mmo/create your own hero game i've wanted for awhile now. Lets hope it ends up being snazzy so i actually have a game to nerd out with my friends on

I'm not quite convinced... I was hoping for a deep experience, and it seems to be more like an action game stuck in Super-duper-multiplayer mode. Could be a lot of fun... not sure how long I'll want to stick with it thought if it doesn't get some depth on it.

kionda seems like it's gonna be AOC only with superheroes and powers.

I mean... if Halo is Call of Duty in space, then, yeah, exactly.

If I can somehow create a character that deals insane damage and heals at the same time, I won't care if it takes two hits to kill me.

If it's like Coh yes you can, sort of. I had a spell that healed by draining the enemy but that may have been a villain power...

I was thinking more along the lines of an ally-healing blaster.

Back when I created my first Scrapper, I got tired of watching my allies die, and picked the Medicine pool set somewhere around level 20-something. I found that I had a taste for healing other people, and I primarily started playing as the Defenders and Controller I later created. I love the healing power sets. Healers have no problem getting team invites (sometimes invites from higher-level teams that sidekick you), and you get to rake in the experience points just for healing and buffing people all day. You often find yourself in the least amount of danger, especially if there's a Tank on your team getting all the aggro. Well, except once you get past level 30, and you go against the occasional villain that targets the healers first.

Thing is, if being a defender has any drawback, it's your inability to deal damage. I'm so tired of slotting my attacks labeled "Damage: High" and still not putting a dent in people.

I just liked flying (blaster), which was good since it got hard to find a group towards the end where I had to admit I was paying just to fly around.

Considering this is sort of COH2 and I made storm clones in the first game, yes.
