NBC has released descriptions for two upcoming episodes of Heroes.

Here's how the network describes "The Line," which is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29.

"West (Nick D'Agosto) convinces Claire (Hayden Panettiere) to teach head cheerleader Debbie (guest-star Dianna Agron) a lesson after she deems Claire too ordinary to join the squad. While Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) faces a serious moral dilemma with the Company, H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) pays his Russian mentor a visit in an effort to locate Isaac's last prophetic paintings.

"Meanwhile, nearing the U.S. border, Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) becomes increasingly uneasy about Sylar's (Zachary Quinto) intentions, especially towards Maya (Dania Ramirez). Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Caitlin's (Katie Carr) search for a mysterious doorway he painted ultimately leads them to a surprising place. In feudal Japan, while attempting to repair history, Hiro (Masi Oka) struggles with his feelings for Kensei's (David Anders) 'princess' Yaeko (guest-star Eriko Tamura)."

Oh great, Claire. First the guy stalks you and you start dating him. Now, he wants you to "teach a cheerleader a lesson," thats just wonderful.

That guy may be another one of Nathan's bastard children.

Therefore, he could be Claires brother. Good girl, Claire, you just kissed your bro.

yeah but the actress turned out a recluse and i blame the kising the bro incident this has wierdly made me think of euro trip lol

Damn, already a thread?
I want to make another one!

:cmad:

The supposed 'Russian mentor' has to end up being Linderman under another alias, cause he's the guy that Noah punches in the scene from the first episode from the start of this season.

I could've sworn I read that that was actually Mohinder's dad.

You can view and download the commercial for this episode here along with an HD avi file.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Employee: I SAY YOU HE DEAD.

The scene that I'm talking about is in season 2 episode 1, at the beginning of the episode you hear Mohinder talking and while he talks there are clips of future episodes and it shows a bunch of stuff, like Takezo knocking Hiro out and betraying Hiro and Noah punching Linderman, who has to end up being alive still and using an alias.

How do you know that was Linderman? It was a very, very quick shot, and from a terrible angle. It could've been anyone.

As for the episode, it actually sounds like a bit of a boring one. I really enjoyed the last two, but the description doesn't really contain anything interesting. More teenage drama crap with Claire, more past stuff with Hiro, and more Maya and Alejandro. I care about none of that. I want more Parkman/Nathan. Team ups are fun.

Tottaly agree. Nathan is so underrated. More parkman/pettrelli!

The team-ups have always been my favorite part of this show. Watching these characters come together and interact is fun, which is why I hate that they're seperated again.

Like Parkman's dad said. They were all drawn together for a greater purpose. All the Heroes will just end up the same way this season also.

Claire's scene better not take up more than a minute in the next episode. This show is in desperate need of some real progression not some sub plot of Claire outcheering some other girl.

Hopefully someone will get a screen shot of it, but didn't it look like Kensei unloaded a punch on Hiro during next weeks previews? It was real quick and close to the end of the preview.

H.R.G. and his Russian Mentor?

Something tells me thats gonna be the best thing of this episode. Hopefully H.R.G will use some more of Batman skills.

That West kid and death Wonder twins Alejandro and Maya are as annoying as hell. If I have to hear them whine one more time I'll change the channel.

Looks like his Russian mentor is being played by Elya Baskin, the actor some of you might remember as the character, Mr. Ditkovitch from Spider-Man 2 and 3 he was Peter's landlord in both of the films.

Here's the Canadian preview of the episode that shows a couple of things that have already been said.

And it looks like it was him that Noah was punching in the clip from s2e1 and not Linderman, I guess he's really dead or won't be back till later.

I wonder why people think Linderman will return. He doesn't auto-heal himself like Claire. He heals other things.

And even if he could heal himself, he'd need to be able to think to do that. And thinking became an impossibility after D.L. destroyed his brain. Destroy the brain also would've destroyed Linderman's powers, so there's another reason he couldn't heal himself.

Only real way Linderman could've made it would be if the Company somehow saved him. But Hiro's dad and Mrs. Petrelli both seemed to think Linderman was dead, and they both have close ties to the company.

Linderman is dead, straight up according to Kring.

Q: Did you always plan to have Linderman die so quickly?

Kring: Yeah. That was another thing I said. I really felt like we wanted to, again, this is all part of jumping on board in the second season, knowing that there were new villains and new bad guys. I looked at Linderman as almost like a Bond villain. The Bond movies always have somebody new and interesting, so Linderman was our first. He was our Goldfinger, our Dr. No.
