Oh snap. That would be the R-rated version of Joker's pencil trick.

That quake is gonna be disturbing as hell for people dealing with the Haiti thing.

& again they chickend out on a fight

Hiro VS Adam should have been a fully blown out Sword Fight

(sighs)

They should learn how to write scripts based on matching the budget & not what they hope they can do if they can not do it right

I like that they showed Samuel's good intentions before his descent into pure villainy. very well done, and it was more of a sinkhole than an earthquake. but Samuel's arc in this episode was very intriguing, probably the best one

They should have killed Hiro off. Enough of making plots and resolving them way too easily.

I didn't think it was that easy at all. Hiro was faced with the consequences of his actions and overcame them by accepting them. And adding his mother in to heal him was a really powerful moment. I do agree that the fight coulda been more fleshed out

At least it was an actual final battle for Adam and Hiro.

The episode was pretty good for most of it's length but then it became awesome near the end. Hiro seeing his mother again was a very good scene and I think Masi Oka gave a very good performance there.

I can't wait to see this , I'm still 3 0r 4 episodes behind , finally gonna catch up tonight.

Sylar and Adam together was awesome. They should bring Adam back for real. I don't care if it's cheap and totally messes up continuity. The guy is one the best Heroes characters (not to mention my favorite character).

The episode as a whole was better than i expected. Especially the Sylar & Claire story. I like Sylar better when he's not a mindless killer. Samuel is the Magneto of this show.

I like it when Sylar isnt a mindless killer as well. Whats also interesting though is that this whole living alone forever thing was set in his mind by Hiro when he went back. I dunno what to think about next week though. Sylar wanting Matt to remove his powers?? Oh and that Sylar as Gretchen fake out was great! Didnt see it coming at all at least right up until the very last second. And of course seeing Adam again was great. I cant believe people arent *****ing about Hiros mom showing up in healing him when shes allready dead. Doesnt really make sense but I dont care it was done nicely. Now Hiro needs to be on a mission to become badass Hiro

I really hope they don't push this Claire/Gretchen love story.

And they are going to push it, just to prove that the original kiss wasn't for shock value(and it was). I think this season of Heroes has been ok but Claire is just freakin pushing me away! :argh: Girl's a horrible actor and them trying to make her and Gretchen an item maybe the final straw. Can't stand Claire as it is, now you have to look at her bff/lover who has the face of a rat's arse and is just as annoying. They are really dropping the ball here!

But on that note, I like Samuel's new found rage.....................but he's looking more and more like Magneto by the passing episodes.

Wow, That was actually a really good episode of heroes. I really wish they could somehow just blink seasons 2 and 3 out of existance and just have 1 and 4.

"Objection, he's just reciting the opening to quantum leap."

I loved freaking crazy Samual at the end. And Claire called Sylar emo.

Also, My DVR cut out at the very end, I probably didn't miss anything, but it ended right after Sylar said to parkmans wife, "its really important that I talk to him". That was it, right?

I caught up recently via DVR. Ugh, still pretty bad, isn't it? I'm suprised its getting so much praise. I suppose when its been so bad for so long anything slightly less bad is good.

I don't see it getting that much praise Matt. Remember during the first 2 seasons when each episode's thread would have like 200 posts each night? What is it, the next day and we only have 15 posts? Not a good sign at all.

After that it was just her asking "Don't I know you?" and he gives her an amused look. I think.

Great episode! I really enjoyed all the storylines except for Claire and Gretchen.

Well duh she's dead, along with Adam Munroe, and his dad. That was like a purgatory, between heaven and being alive as they held a court case to decide whether Hiro should live or not. His mom is just meeting him at the gate of what I assume is heaven and "healing" him.

I think he's more on about the fact that she healed him. I pursume that the court case was all in Hiro's head but his mam healing him suggests otherwise.

Can people still use their powers when thyre dead? I think thats what Eklypze was trying to say.

I sorta assumed that the whole thing was metaphorical in nature. His mother didn't heal him so much as he learned to forgive himself and gained the will to fight his impending death.

Yeah thats what I meant. It was a metaphor. Just the healing kinda through me. But I guess we'll have to wait till next week to see if he is healed or just strong enough to fight it.

If Hiro's brain tumor is gone, then I'm done with this show. Done. I'm sick and tired of his cliche'd arcs, and how he never seems to learn anything from season to season (he's not the only one) and that you can pretty much tell what his arc is going to be every time.

1. Hiro starts off with some wacky idea.
2. Hiro gets in trouble through some happenstance he could have prevented.
3. Hiro's mind gets screwed up, borking his powers.
4. Hiro gets cured through Deus Ex Machina
5. Hiro learns lesson.
6. New Season: Hiro forgot everything he ever learned previously.

Same deal. Please NBC, do what's right. Kill him. Please I beg you. Just like HRG, Sylar, Matt, and Nathan (who's finally dead) should have been killed before.

Wow Ryudoz, you're finally begining to understand. Hollywood rule 1 Always follow the formula. Once you get to be about 40 you will start knowing the endings before you are half way through.
Lastly, death fetish?

The reason I brought up the others is because I felt it was poignant to the point I was trying to make. Heroes has made no bones about killing people (often though they are minor characters that are offed waaaaaay before they should be) but leaving others alive when it serves the plot.

HRG - Took a slug right to the eyeball thanks to Mohinder. Claire's blood saves the day.
Sylar - Was ran through with a katana by Hiro. Wound up alive somewhere in South America. Had his throat slit with a box cutter and bled out during the eclipse in Villains. His powers reactivated when the eclipse was over.
Matt - Took six (or more) rounds to the chest courtesy of Sylar in Kirby Plaza. How he survived... well, he just showed up now on the NYPD instead of LAPD.
Nathan - Died at the end of every Season only to miraculously show up alive and kicking when the next one starts.

With Hiro, if it turns out he's healed by the ghost of his dead mother (or some nonsense) then that's it. I've had it.
