Might as well be ready for tonight:
— H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) enacts his plan to take down the Carnival with the help of Lauren (guest star Elizabeth Rohm) and Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Sylar (Zachary Quinto) visits Matt (Greg Grunberg) looking to understand his desire to make a human connection, but Matt has a plan of his own. Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) warns Emma (guest star Deanne Bray) of Samuel's (Robert Knepper) intentions after his grim vision of the future. Hayden Panettiere and Cristine Rose also star. Madeline Zima, Ray Park, Lisa Lackey, David H. Lawrence XVII, Dawn Olivieri, Harry Perry, and Todd Stashwick also guest star.

Thanks for jumping the gun. :awesome:

Claire's relationship with Gretchen is 100x more interesting than any others she has had in this series. Whether she's gay or not, who cares... this is just better written.

also, I'm glad that Sylar appears to be turning good again, or at least not as bad as he was... he's much more fun when he's conflicted about himself as opposed to when he enjoys killing innocents.

This show still sucks. Hey, lets put Sylar behind a flimsy brick wall so that when he regains his powers he can just pop out and say HEY! Cut of his ****ing head. Bury him in concrete. These people in this show are ridiculously stupid. This show is just a myriad of terrible writers.

Except he wasn't just putting him in a flimsy wall. He put him in a mental prison. The wall was just so no one would ever find him and he could spend the rest of eternity trapped in his mind.

i was a little confused by the brick wall thing... but over all i think "redemption" has been a very good season. A lot of things have been improved upon from last season. the focus is less on crazy time traveling interwoven story arcs and more on the emotional connections of the characters.

plus, Samuel is an AMAZING villian!

KILL HIM. Put him in a mental state you KNOW he will break out of:dry:

You really think that is going to hold:dry: END THIS SHOW. Here, let me write the rest of this season. Sylar gets out and kills more people and goes after Matt who put him there. Hire me NBC:awesome:

I can't stand people *****ing either. Personally I really like the show and I don't over analyze. It's entertaining and I think the characters are engaging. I'm disappointed they killed Lydia but I can see how her death will push things into a bigger frenzy...to bring back the masses he had to sacrifice one of his own...and like a true villain his narcissistic personality wouldn't allow him to die(or be captured) in her place (like a hero would).

I'm curious, does Lauren have a power? If she was Bennet's ex partner she'd kinda have to right?

I'm a little saddened to see my fave character (Angela) reduced but she had her high points I suppose.

I really enjoyed seeing Matt be agressive with his power and KUDOS to his wife for letting her balls drop out a bit and suggest they end Sylar.

I also noticed Gretchen seemed to be the "voice of the fans" this episode...what when she told Claire to try and actually live that normal life she so say craves.

GREAT episode and I'm eager to watch next weeks!

I don't think they were ever partners... the just both worked for the company and had a (unprofessional) relationship outside of work. they used to meet at the coffee house where charlie worked, in fact they met on what would have been the day of her death. HRG's partner at that time was the Haitian.

Did anyone else notice the puppet man appeared to be controlling Emma in Peter's dream? Or am I a bit ******ed in the face and seeing crap?

Whatever happened to Claire's entire healing blood?

^A wizard got rid of it.

I can't stand people *****ing either.

This place is a grave yard for a reason...

********tumbleweed***********

I keep giving this show a chance because I love Season 1 but it just sucks. I want it to get better and it just doesn't.

Maybe I missed something last season, but I thought the puppet master guy was killed by Sylar?

No he lived and Claire gave him a second chance at life and he repayed her by being mean to her.

You do know that Matt isn't the kind of guy who would just kill a person in cold blood, right? Even if that person is Sylar. I wanna know why he didn't push a thought into Sylar's mind when he was threatning his wife. Or is it that telepathic powers don't work on Sylar either? Which would be beyond lame.

^sylar is uber strong and smart. i think matt knew that trying something like that wasn't guaranteed to work.. and to risk it could mean the death of Janice and lil' matt

They could have at least made Sylar say something along the lines of: "don't try anything cute because you know it won't work" Now it just seems like he forgot about his powers. Don't get me wrong, i loved this episode but that just seemed weird to me.

BTW, i think Peter is gonna be my new favorite character. The guy is awesome with his "new" ability.

this has been peters best season so far. he's the only character that has actively tried to be a HERO. well, Hiro and Ando had that "dial-a-hero" thing but that doesn't count lol

I thought last night was a very solid episode. The whole "lemme trap sylar in a brick wall in my basement" thing was a little silly. I would never bury sylar in my own house! lol

But anyway, good episode. Things are building up. I love how Samuel is an evil bastard. This show needs an irredeemable villain, and with Sylar going soft, Samuel is definitely it.

How many episodes are left til the finale this season?

i think 2... the olympics are going to take its place in a few weeks.

Which is ironic because the show is finally starting to pick up the pace. I think last night's episode was riveting.

What?!?! Only 2 eps left?!?! You have got to be kidding me. Like just a break or for the rest of the season or what? If its gonna be over that quick I am very disappointed
