From Academy Award winner Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and based on Iain Reid’s acclaimed novel. Despite second thoughts about their relationship, a young woman (Jessie Buckley) takes a road trip with her new boyfriend (Jesse Plemons) to his family farm. Trapped at the farm during a snowstorm with Jake’s mother (Toni Collette) and father (David Thewlis), the young woman begins to question the nature of everything she knew or understood about her boyfriend, herself, and the world.

Halfway through I'm like, "Oh, it's like an adult version of It's A Good Life episode from Twilight Zone". Then by the end, "Oh, it's so much more!"

This looks great and I love Jessie Buckley*, Jesse Plemons and Toni Colette. I can't wait to watch this.

*If you have not seen Wild Rose yet, please do so and weep with me at her lack of of Best Actress Oscar nomination.

Great book, I have been excited about this one for a while. I am surprised that Kaufman seems to be following the book closer than I might have thought if that great trailer is anything to go by.

Netflix owning this year.
