A new company named Fireblitz is creating a Child's Play based game. It was originally meant to be a straightforward adaptation but from what I can ascertain they have not been able to acquire the actual rights & so they've had to change the name as well as a lot of story components. If you head on over to Patreon and search up the game, you're able to donate and as with any project of this nature there are certain tiers. You contribute a certain amount and you'll get a bloody skin for Charlie as well as access to the Beta. Those involved have stated they plan to release for Xbox, Playstation & PC so it will most definitely be on Steam.
I really hope they are able to go the distance with this and even get the rights to make it an official CP game. I'm highly intrigued in seeing what they can make of this.
