Charlize Theron teaming with John Wick Directors for 'Atomic Blonde'

Charlize Theron is set to star in The Coldest City with Leitch and Stahelski directing, and production planning to get underway this October in Germany. Based on the Antony Johnston graphic novel of the same name, the thriller revolves around a super spy (Theron) who is spurred into action when an underground MI6 officer is killed just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Theron will also produce the project, which boasts a screenplay by Kurt Johnstad (300: Rise of an Empire) and will be released in North America by Focus Features.

James McAvoy is set to join Charlize Theron in the Focus Features’ spy thriller “The Coldest City,” sources tell Variety.

Production is set for a November shoot in Budapest and Berlin.

I like the title, and I like that it seems to be taking note from Blondie's song Atomic.

The only issue with the poster is that, I think it's a publicity still of Theron on set, and they just photoshopped the crap out of it.

It would've looked better if she struck the same pose during costume test/photo shoot, where you actually can play around with the lighting, and make it more dynamic looking.

But yeah, the title is much better. The Coldest City just sounds bleh for a movie like this.

Haven't heard of this movie til now but this seems promising.

The Coldest City reminds me of that awful movie 'Whiteout'. I get that the title alludes to the Cold War and the Berlin Wall, but I can't help it but to think of a blizzard with the original title.
