Here are some more pics of the 11 o'clock one
And the SWAG you get.
i'll be there
Cops kicked us out, as discussed,...
I can't believe this keeps getting shut down by the cops!
I mean, didn't they think ahead on this? What the hell? Pretty lame.
Maybe the cops are working for the Joker!
omg! the corrupt cops we're fighting against!
I showed up at 12:10 and there was a bunch of geeks but no Van. It really sucked because we all stayed there till 1:10 or so. What a bunch of crap!
If you're going to advertise it to be from 11 to 1 then please at least leave someone there to hand out buttons or something. Bye bye lunch hour!
I sure as hell am not going to the 4pm one knowing all this.
God I'm pissed. I don't think that was their intention.
I don't think these "stops" were cleared with the city. So I guess when a cop says move then they have no choice! They did stay from about 11-11:30ish. Then packed up. I didn't see any cops around besides the one directing traffic.
If this was a promotional event for the movie...WB would have gotten the proper permits you would think.
yea, my guess would be they didn't get the city's approval. they're doing it like if you were to pack a van up with swag and drove to a spot to start handing it out. no clearance, no permit. cops have every right to shut it down. get to your stops early people! but leave a t-shirt for me!
I wonder how the people running them got talked into it? Temps? Interns for WB?
is there only one type of shirt size? or is there different sizes?
All of them that were given out were size Large
*is jealous of those who went*
I want that Harvey Dent face pin...trade you? Joker phone for the pin
False...I got an XL and M
Good to meet ya Stan
Likewise Vlkers! t:
Wow, what an afternoon! The Viral folks got wise after their earlier encounters and just had the van circle the block while the two of the crew had us march up Madison to Wacker, and then back down to Union station where we sort of settled for a while. It was the single greatest political rally I've ever been to.
I'm off to capture all my footage and edit out the crappy parts.
I was one of the supporters who got to hold the signs at the 8 o'clock stop.
It was great, and well worth the drive.
Everything that I have are videos that I took, no pics. I'll try and still image the stuff that I have from this morning.
Here are some photos that I took of the event.
The rest are videos which are being uploaded right now.
My swag that I got
My crew that went with me to Chicago. I am the red-head on the left.
looks very cool.. i wish i wasnt sick i would have went downtown to get some stuff.
Oh so THAT'S where you get your userid! ;D
Seriously, that was so bad ass.
Should have come to the 4pm rally...it was a little nuts.
Thank you to all who found out I was the one with the Joker cake phone and didn't try to steal it from out of pocket!
It was seriously a political rally,we had people honking and we even stopped traffic at a point.I had a great time and it was amazing being part of this experience. PS.
