Set against a backdrop of London torn apart by violence and warring nationalistic sects, "Children of Men" follows disillusioned bureaucrat Theo (Owen) as he becomes an unlikely champion of Earth's survival. When the planet's last remaining hope is threatened, this reluctant activist is forced to face his own demons and protect her from certain peril.

Directed and co-written by acclaimed filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón ("Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "Y tu mamá también"), "Children of Men" also stars Julianne Moore as the leader of an underground opposition group and Michael Caine as Jasper.

The film is produced by Marc Abraham & Eric Newman ("Spy Game," "Dawn of the Dead"), Hilary Shor & Tony Smith ("Eye of the Beholder," "Beautopia") and Iain Smith ("Alexander," "Cold Mountain"). It is adapted for the screen by Cuarón, Timothy J. Sexton ("Live from Baghdad") and David Arata ("Brokedown Palace").

Also:

- 1st trailer will most likely be attached to Miami Vice.

- Cuaron is going to show some footage and trailer of his movie on Comic-Con.

So what you think? :)

Anxiously awaiting it. Cuaron is an amazing director IMO.

Seems like it could be cool.

Sounds potentialy good and very gritty looking at the pics:(

Well it Michael Caine is in it with a hippie look.

I'm so there.

Looks soooo miserable, and the fact i can't shake the fact a lot of it feels like Eastenders is the same issue i had with 28 days later:(

Very nice. The look on the film is beautiful. I liked the version of Gimme Shelter that was on the trailer too.

Awesome trailer! The film looks beautiful which is exactly what hoedowned just said!

Chiwetel Ejiofor is in it? Count me in

wow... that looks greatm the music in some parts feel out of place but who cares, this looks great, and thank god i hate Eastenders

More evidence that that better films of 2006 still aren't out yet.

Just saw the trailer at the Miami Vice premire and it was the best trailer I saw that night! I cant wait too see this movie!

I liked how London seemed semi-futuristic. It's surreal with the cars from different eras, ect.

Looking forward to this, it has a Y:The Last Man vibe to it.

The Black Dahlia and this were the two trailers that were memorable to me when they played before Miami Vice. I am in love with the look of this flick, definitely gonna see it.

Man this looks awesome. I love Clive Owen and I love the way this movie looks realistically futuristic.

Alfonso Cuaron AND CLive Owen.
I'm there man.
