Christian School Suspends Teacher After Stolen Nude Pics Show Up Online

No way, me and my best buds do that all the time. It's just like trading pokemon crads for adults
only cause i gotta
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Pokemon Cards!!" Hahahahahahahahahah! that's freaking wild! man!:cwink: i showed my girl that and she started cracking up! Hahaha
and as one not to judge( i got my own thing!hell we all do that's why i have problems with the "Holier than thou" crowd!) my only) compliant would be that trading..ahem "cards" without them knowing or consenting to it. isnt very sporty! however i am well aware that if someone is allowing their picture or video to be taken like that, they are well aware that it is being passed around shown( or maybe they are just that stupid!!)... it's like some crazy "butterfly effect" people have.

i try to stay out of religious stuff cause nothing sets people off more than that but.... i think that the school was wrong. it was off her personal property that someone swiped and did that to her! it's not like she did it herself! with that being said i also understand that the "school" had to try and save face and punish her.
they after all couldn't have little johnny come home from school and saying " i saw Miss so and so's knockers.. someplace ( which begs the question why are the school or it's pupils looking at those sites in the 1st place?). it was the only way they could stop by being sued or some &* by the parents of it's student body..overall i don't think that's cool which i guess the point of all this is i am glad i went to public school!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA " pokemon" thats great!!

If you and your girl think it's funny, pm me some of you girl's pics.

Well we don't actually trade them we just see who got the hottest girl that weekend. Loser has to buy a round of drinks

pm me some of you girl's pics.
hahahahah come on now! i am crazy i never said stupid!!
and thats not my thing! obviously coming here i like that chicks in that Wonder Woman getup! Hahahahaha
"Gotta catch em all!!"
%^&%^ and all we traded in school was "Garbage pail kids"
hahhahahahha!:cwink:

There's no investigation. There's not really anything to investigate. She's on paid leave, and might as well be on vacation. If she ends up being let go or leaving, it may even be for the best, for her and the kids.

While she may have signed some kind of a morality contract, they're probably trying to protect the children and separate them from the situation while trying to spare this woman absurd amounts of humiliation while they figure out what to do about a very tough situation. This kind of thing can seriously undermine a teacher's authority and credibility and creates incredibly difficult and awkward situations.

Well you all can judge me all you want, it doesn't make me feel bad. It's something we've done for a very long time and we aren't gonna stop anytime soon. There is nothing wrong with having an active sex life and a healthy competition between friends

I honestly don't see much difference between you and the people who post girls' nude shots online. You're abusing their trust in you by passing them around. Whether it's only a few people or the whole internet, you're still abusing their trust and showing their body to people who have no business seeing them. Granted, they're stupid to let you take pictures (providing they are letting you, otherwise that's a whole different conversation that should result in you in jail), but you showing their pictures off is a disgusting image of what kind of person you are.

And yes, I am judging you.

Well I guess that's just the difference between me and JH. Every girl I've been with has gave me their permission to take pics and or video. It doesn't violate their trust because most of them know I think they are going to win me the round of drinks, heck sometimes they are still with me and get a drink bought for them. I've had girls post naughty pics of me on the net and I could care less. Most girls get pics of me as well and they are free to do whatever they wish with them. I'm not ashamed of the way I live and what me and my friends do.

If you let somebody take photos of you nude, specially if you haven't known them for more than a few hours, than that person has no moral obligation to keep them under lock and key. I haven't been with one female that has had a problem with our group and competition and a lot of girls are proud that they won me a round of drinks. To younger generations this kind of stuff is very common and not frowned upon

You are getting with some pretty stupid girls, but I have a feeling you like it that way.

She will be given the chance to resign, which she probably will.....she will then have to wait until the next school year (some schools make it a year to wait) and she will find another teaching job because her principal will not say anything unless the other principal asks if he/she would hire her. The principal will probably say no, and then it is up to the new principal to make the judgment on whether to hire her. Unless the new principal watches the news and saw this and recognizes her name, her former school will never mention it in anyway. That is how it works in education, and that is why bad teachers are able to stay in the field of education. Not saying that she is a bad teacher, but she doesn't have very good judgment.

That is definitely true... some of the teachers who truly are bad and were caught doing reprehensible things get new jobs because no one asks, "so what happened at your last teaching position?"

The bold part still makes it crap. If you aren't telling every single girl and getting their permission, then you're as good as a rapist in my eyes. Taking advantage of someone and hurting them without their permission.

And trust me, I'm not THAT old. I'm still close with a LOT of teenagers and early 20-somethings. This is not common and it IS frowned upon by everyone save those who are doing it. Maybe your little circle of friends have blinders on and consider it common place, but you're wrong.

And with that I'll let the subject drop.

I wouldn't call them stupid they are just young and looking to have a good time and I provide that. Girls like DJs what can I say

None of us here work at a Christian school, as far as I know, which is whom I was pointing the finger at. I've also said at least twice I know the predicament the school is in but none of us are the school yet most of you are still judging her as if you were morality police.

Who cares that none of us work at a Christian school? I'm a pastor, knowing Christian morals is a huge part of my job. She broke Christian morals, which she's expected to uphold as a teacher at a Christian school. This isn't rocket science.

Ya I feel sympathy for her but it is kind of her fault. I have over 2 gbs of pics from chicks I've hooked up with in the last year or so and not a single one of them said not to take them, even the 2 school teachers (although they were in public school). But I'm not a punk, I may let a few of my boys take a peek but those are my trophies (like Dexter) and they are not for the world to see

I have no words. lol. What the heck

Anyway yeah the school was justified in their decision.

What if she asked God for forgiveness and apologized? Does she deserve a second chance at the school?

I would say no. Because although God forgives, our actions still have consequences sometimes.

That's not very Christian either though.

I'm not the school. Take it up with them. :p
But anyways, there are situations in the Bible similar to this. Where a leader was not acting like he should be and has to be removed from his position of leadership. Actions have consequences.

True. Yes, she can be forgiven, but that doesn't mean it's in her or the school's best interests to continue teaching there. The school would face parental backlash of parents who are aware that their kids can look up nude images of their teacher. But the principal could let her resign and give her a good word to future employers who calls him/her based on her performance alone.

after 4 pages i thought we would have a name. :)

Exactly.

If you want to teach children (Christian or otherwise) you'd better keep your clothes on in public.

The parents of little Bobby and Jane aren't gonna want their kids to be able to google pictures of teach in the nude.It being a Christian school is irreverent.

truth here

Cut her in half, and one half of her can keep the job and the other can resign...Or something like that.

In all seriousness, it would probably just be best for her and the school to part ways. She'll constantly be under the stress of wondering who all around the school has seen her naked and the school will have to deal with angry overprotective mommies and daddies who want the teacher gone. I think regarding forgiveness, the school shouldn't be rude to her or anything, but I think it's plain to see that it would be best for all parties involved if she just found a job elsewhere. It would take a very particular situation for her to keep the job, in my opinion.

That's not very Christian either though.

It actually is very Christian. We should always strive to be willing to forgive, but for sin there can still be consequences. For example I found out a student doing work at my church was stealing. The consequence was that he was much more closely supervised and his school that he was co-oping through was informed. Then he stole again so the consequence was he couldn't do his work at the church any more. I forgave him both times and hope he does well wherever he works next but the consequence remains.

Similarly I hope she repents and then she should be forgiven but there are still consequences.

What if she asked God for forgiveness and apologized? Does she deserve a second chance at the school?

Depends on her contract.

This has nothing to do with it being a private school, christian school, public school...whatever. Within our contracts as educators we have some type of "ethics and morals" clause I have never seen an educator's contract without one. Something like what she did, and even thinking it "might not" get out ...that is for a teacher pretty much against social mores...therefore she has consequences. Within my school, she would probably be reassigned to a task where she was not necessarily teaching to finish out her contract and then given the chance to resign. Or she could be put on a professional growth plan that included professional training on the moral and ethics of teaching and given a chance to continue. It really has nothing to do with anyone forgiving her, it is about professionalism.

Many schools are actually doing teacher professional development on social media. Some schools go as far as not allowing teachers to have Facebook, twitter accounts etc....my district simply advises us not to have these, but they have not gone as far as now allowing it. So schools take these things far more serious than the average person on a message board. It is not taken lightly...
