The Dark Knight Christopher Nolan's 'Knight' vision L.A. Times

good read,

...his chalk-white face set off by a lipstick "grin" that emphasizes the jagged scars that curl up from the corners of his mouth. Throughout the movie, Ledger probes those scars with his tongue, the way toothless people incessantly chomp their gums.

i really wanna see that, sounds so creepy.

good read, gotta love that whole Joker and multiple choice origin & that little thing bout the kid getting threatened is pure gold.

Solid article. Hype for this movie is beginning to reach a fever pitch...

variety one just scre*** me, damn im spoiling everything! i stopped reading it after it...

Nice! Great article!

From what the original rotten tomatoes review said, the youngster who's threatened is
Gordon's son, who is the subject of a Two-Face coin toss in the Gordon/Two-Face/Batman finale
.

I love the descriptions of Nolan being so proper, yet reveling in the big-budgetness of this film.

In one harrowing scene, Ledger does explain his cheek scars to a victim -- and then, later in the film, he delivers a second creepy monologue with an entirely different explanation. The revelation: The Joker is a liar, even to the folks eating the popcorn.

My favourite part.

It's truly befitting of the character. I'm glad reference is made to it.

I don't think I've ever encountered a movie I've anticipated more.

Friday. July 18th. 12:01am. It can't come sooner.

This movie will own, I can't wait to see it on the big screen. I'm going to start saving up soon for a 1080p HDTV (I already have a PS3/blu-ray player) just for this movie well this one and begins.
