Chuck (NBC)

For those of you with a Dish Network DVR, the pilot episode of this new NBC show should be sitting in your DVR's "Dish-On-Demand" or "TV Entertainment" section.

It was pretty good. It sort of started like a Jake 2.0, but came out totally different. For a pretty unoriginal idea (geek turns secret agent), it's got a pretty original premise and some decent laughs. The ending of the pilot hinted at even more chances for comedy AND drama in the episodes to follow.

The girl that plays Chuck's sister (Sarah Lancaster) TOTALLY reminds me of Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter).

Also, for Traveler fans, there will be a familiar face in the beginning of the show.

All in all, it's definitely getting added to my DVR list. Makes it easier that it precedes Heroes. :)

That little jam during the opening montage was pretty tight.

Oh snap..Orion may still be alive?

Probably just Chuck messing with him. But I wouldn't be too upset to see Orion back.

I think it was Chuck, but that was crazy to see regardless.

**** you Thread Manager. **** you up your stupid ass

I don't know that I'd buy that he's still alive... I'm more interested in the editing choice there - as soon as Morgan says "We're going to need help," they cut away to that scene... Foreshadowing?

I'm assuming our final fight in this episode is going to be set to whatever Ellie's Push Mix CD is comprised of...

Volkov more then likely would have thought it was Chuck. He seemed convinced that it was Orion

Well Volkoff has only reports to go off that Orion was dead - no visual evidence. Plus, I think it's a stretch to assume that Chuck's talented enough with a computer to do what was done in Volkoff's office. He's never shown Orion's level of computer programming.

Rethinking it, it does seem pretty suspicious. I mean, if it DOES turn out to have just been Chuck, where in hell does that fit into his plan? He and Morgan seemed to have a pretty basic plot - find the scientist, find Contessa, find Volkoff. What does threatening the man do besides tell him you're coming?

Poor Morgan! No clothes underneath! :lmao::lmao:

I feel like it's more likely that Mary did it to force Volkoff onto the ship, where Hydra apparently is.

Morgan is going to go all Mission Impossible here

Linda is listed as a guest star for episode 4.14. I guess she does not die tonight

Man Dalton is awesome. I'm gonna be kind of sad if he dies.
