Cigars: Smokem if you got em

When I'm not smoking angeldust I tend to go for ITC 10th Anniversaries or 601. They are my 2 favs right now.
I'm very familiar with both of those. I really like the 601 blue label. I've met Eddie and Eric (They own the company) a couple of times.

I forgot to mention Edge Sumatra.

On a side note: I used to love La Aurora 100 Anos, but they went down the ****ter. Padron has also been lacking lately.

What you wrote about the fair tax was great. As far as cigars go I am a full bodied fiend. BTW, I checked out Corpus Blacks youtube page, that's some funny ****.

Thank you about the Fairtax thread, and welcome to the Hype! Did you read all the Fairtax thread?

You should see the upcoming DVD. I smoke Davidoffs dipped in booze and drink oven cleaner with a shaved sheep.

I like the green the most but it's hard to say. They're all considerably good.

my experience of cigars has been nothing but terrible

i'm open for conversion though

That is actually not a cigar, that is called paraphernalia or Contraband. This is a thread about Premium Hand Made cigars, not that crap.

It was a joke, and that is a cigar skin, Mr. "I know more about the chemical properties of a substance than a science journal".
Im glad that smoking tons of tobacco has allowed you to gain such knowledge :woot:
Although im not sure why you equate "psychoactive" to some kind of "problem", as any substance that causes a change in mood or perception (even chemicals in chocolate, and yes...in tobacco as well) are classified as psychoactive, but of course you must be the knowledgeable one here
It is not true, I've smoke fresh rolled (no age) cigars with no problem. It is more than likely a rumor based on the fact most people never see tobacco fields or the process of growing tobacco.
Yeah, it can't be because of the thousands of premium hand made cigars I've smoked can't be enough exprience, and it can't be that this magizine you speak of has it's own agenda... hmm...
:cwink:

I would like to think that I know a little about cigars. I make them. I've been to Honduras and been to the factories. I've taken fresh cigars out of the hand of the girl that rolled it. I smoked it a couple of minutes later. I like to think I know a little something about cigars. Below is a picture of our factory.

I don't mean to come off like a d-ck, so please don't take offense. There is no such thing as a "cigar skin". What you have there is a blunt wrap. It's actually homogenized paper and not tobacco. Premium cigars are surrounded by a leaf. Chopped cigars and things like Backwoods, Blunts, Swishers and Grenadiers for example, use the homogenized paper. Speaking from experience, it is very difficult to roll a blunt from a premium cigar as the leaf cracks easily.

Tansit: Well, my daddy always said, "There's nothing like a good stogie to clean the pipes." Y'know?

That is quite impressive, but it doesnt change the chemical composition and/or properties of tobacco, which, when inhaled, produce a slight changed in mood/perception, called by some tobacco smokers a "buzz"
So basicly, tobacco is as much of a drug as alcohol or cannabis, well exept for the fact that it contains small quantities of the posion/nerotoxin known as "nicotine", an adaptation by the plant in order to kill the small animals or insects that would have eaten it in the wild, though when smoken by humans it just leads to the gradual build up of the material in the body, even when simply held in the mouth as many cigar smokers do, as it is absorbed into the muccus membranes of the mouth, eventually leading to many unsavory and nasty consequences. Good thing the bad drugs like cannibus are illegal and tobacco is readily available
This aside, cigar smoking (without fully inhailing the smoke deep into the lungs) is much better for you than cigarette smoking

No apologizes necessary man. I was a cigar noob once and I ruined a good one trying to roll a blunt. Found out the hard way when it cracked and my burning dope fell into my lap.

I love Cuban Cigars. Had one last friday night and it freaking put my head for a spin. The best part of the cigar is when it get to be about 3/4 done. It really gets good then! I got it for free b/c of work. We had 12 Cuban Cigars ($115 each) and 12 Cigars from Venezuela ($145 each). Some people we did business with screwed up on something minor and sent us all the cigars as a "I'm sorry here you go".

Thats a great sorry gift! I've smoked number of Cubans. My Favorite is the Bolivar. I have several dozen in the Humi. I tend to like Honduran better actually. There's one I get from a Factory right now is amazing. Very much like what Cubans were 5-10 years ago. But, the blend isn't on the market yet, so one day we'll put it out.
