This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]534889[/split]
I will say, Thor looks to actually using Hemsworth's charm for once.
Unlike the competition who has a real tough time bringing out their actor's natural charm.
Read the spoilers on JL and... it sounds good to me? Am I crazy? The visuals still look horrific, and the line deliveries in the trailer don't seem like they will help anything, but, man... I could generally enjoy this.
You are not. It sounds pretty decent. The fact that the Snyder apologists in reddit hate it with a passion is a good sign.

C lee deleted the original reddit link. But there was a lot of profanity hurled at Whedon for seemingly innocuous things. It's kind of disturbing. What exactly is there to hate about it?
Are they actually hating it for what it is, or are they predisposed to hating it based on the instinct that the plot will be Whedonized?
All of the movies have used Hemsworth's charm.
Remember when he broke his coffee mug? That was great.

Might be as true as saying Vulture is Michelle's dad in Homecoming.I have no problem with the plot outline outside [blackout]Flash and Cyborg digging out Superman's corpse[/blackout], if true.
Definitely not in Thor 2. Did Hemsworth ever smile in that movie?
Yes, they kind of tapped into it a bit in the other movies, but not nearly to the extent we've seen so far. But Hemsworth has never looked like he was having so much fun in the MCU.
Neither Thor nor Hemsworth had any reason to smile in TDW. Thor had no character arc in that movie because the emotional focus was on Loki once again. Hemsworth ditched most of the press tour for TDW in order to work on other movies, and who could blame him? It must be hard for an actor who knows he's promoting a piece of crap.
Yeah. Thor was as anemic in The Dark World as Tony Stark was in IM2.
Loki was the only thing that was interesting to the filmmaker.
Thor was just a secondary character in his own movie. Sad, really.
I think most would agree that TDW, Hulk and Iron Man 2 are the three weakest films in the MCU. After that it's pretty much just based on preference
