Will Ant-Man will still be a standalone story or will the movie tie into Captain America 3 somehow?
It's not a standalone movie in the sense that it will certainly have ties to the MCU. But it will also be an Ant-Man-centric film. I think things you hear in the trailer about giving people the power of gods shows that the themes that lead to Civil War are present.
I'm pretty sure I heard Paul Rudd is going to be in Civil War.
The will work as a standalone film but it will have connections to the rest of the MCU.
*Hank Pym's Ant-Man will feature in a cold war set prologue in South America
*Howard Stark and Peggy Carter will feature in a flashback.
*Hank Pym will have a negative opinion of the Avengers and Shield based on AoU
Yeah [BLACKOUT] Rudd has a terrible poker face [/BLACKOUT].
I suspect the stinger(s?) will either involve Scott being asked to join the [BLACKOUT] New Avengers[/BLACKOUT], an allusion to hope becoming the Wasp, or those rumors about a cameo from General Ross.
I don't think Ant-Man somewhere related to captain america.
Ant Man is considered phase 2 now right? I'm beginning to think the reason they didn't have an after credits scene for AOU is because they're going to include it in this movie to tease phase 3. That could be where they tease Civil War or Spidey
Confirmed. Paul Rudd will be reprising the role in Civil War.
