I like that there are only 2 trailers released for this film.
However, they have since then released a whole bunch of new clips in a span of a little over 1 week:
- Team Cap infiltration
- Team Cap and Iron Man meeting
- Bucky vs Team Iron Man
- Scott Lang meets Cap
Yesterday they released an Audi tie-in commercial that showed a lot of the Panther, Bucky, Cap sequence!
They even released a couple of 5 minute B-roll footage which is actually worst because not only is it longer but it contains basically the gist of what's happening in the story.
I think 2 new clips should be good spread out a week apart, but having 4 in just about 10 days is a little too much, yet we still have two more weeks before the movie comes out, so there may probably be at least a couple more extra clips before all is said and done.
They overdid this with AOU last year where they basically showed the beginning of Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight, Cap vs Ultron on the truck, they even showed Vision's first appearance like what the f...
Fox's marketing with Deadpool and now with Apocalypse seems much more clever. They don't bombard viewers with new clips, instead with Apocalypse do viral messages and with Deadpool hilarious ads in other commercials.
If Marvel release a clip of Spider-Man or Black Panther's first appearance before the movie comes out...
