I just saw this film today because I heard that the Joker for the new Batman movie would act like, I gotta say that was an amazing movie. I was wondering though in the theatrical trailer is says the movie is a metaphor. What is the movie a metaphor for? I didn't know when it was produced, so was there something historically going on then that the movie parallels too?

Great movie indeed.

I have yet to see the movie. I have been trying to find it on dvd but no stores carry it. Im going to have to get it online. I read the book and the book is awesome. Glad to hear the film version was good.

Been along time since I've watched that movie. The Rape scene was very disturbing to me. Clockwork Orange is definately a movie classic, and highly liked by alot of ppl. I can't really comment on how this movie ranks in movie history, but from places I've read it ranks pretty far up there...

This movie is an all-time classic, and stands as my favorite Kubrick film. It is great! Twisted and great!

It's actually quite interesting how it was recieved. Hell, my film teacher in Sr. year was even hesitant to show part of the film due to the content. If I remember correctly, the film itself actually caused a controversy, I believe... with the whole MPAA ratings of it... might have been NC-17 at one point, can't really recall that well, just read up on it a while ago.

The movie is more of a statement on how you can't really change a person, because deep down they'll always be who they really are.
And yeah it was a really good movie. I wouldn't call it Kubrick's best, but its definitely up there, for the imagery alone.

I didn't realize the kid was supposed to be 15!!!!! also did you guys know that the guy who plays Alex played Linderman on heroes!

I f**king love this movie...Alex is just one of the most despicable characters ever, yet you still feel sympathy for him, and root for him near the end...and am I really the only one who was like "f**k yeah!" at the end when he broke his conditioning? They need to release a good 2 disc dvd of this...

I agree Joker, This film is one my all time favorites.

LoL, I love this movie. I have good memories when I think about :D
