Clone wars movie!

I must really be out of the loop, I did not know there's going to be a Clone wars movie out in august!

I knew there was a tv series cgi coming out, and that there are plans for a live action tv show but, I had no clue about a movie. I thought I would have seen previews for a while now about something this big, especially when it comes to Starwars.

yea i was surprised too.. i thought it was just going to be on tv, and thats it.. i heard they just got the first 3 episodes of the animated series and then pasted them together as one film. haha

It's being released wide.

Yeah it'll be on the big screen. I'm surprised it's not a May launch like the other SW films. But he probably knew there'd be all those other movies out in May, well, there isn't really any big movie in May except for Indy, and I think a Lucas/ Spielberg May would be cool, as long as they don't open on the same day.

Could be because of it not being totally finished and all that technical type stuff. And if it's Starwars, it'll do well.

It's the first three episodes of the new series, which is debuting on Cartoon Network and TNT this fall. We've got an ongoing discussion about it over in the Star Wars thread.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not 100% positive it's the first three episodes. I thought I heard it somewhere. Nevertheless, it'll be about 90 minutes long, and will be the first "episode" of The Clone Wars.
