CN's Pokemon marathon!

Is anyone watching Cartoon Network's Pokemon marathon? What this marathon is making me realize is that this show has lasted too long. I haven't watched the newer seasons, but what was the point of the Johto Journeys? I loved the original Pokemon. It was a great idea, the stories were good, and I loved the characters. Seeing Ash & Friends going through various adventures, getting badges, and then the tournament was great. Now, once you get to Johto it's basically a rehash of the earlier season. They should have ended the show or done the season differently.

I thought pokemon was finally canceled when I didnt see it on kids WB anymore. I don't have cable.
I use to be able to sing the 150 pokemon rap at the end of the show.

It's on Cartoon Network now. Tomorrow (or should I say later today) is the premiere of its 9th or 10th season.

I watched some of the Pokemon Marathon. Pokemon has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. It was great to catch up on some of the older episodes that I have never got to see over the years. Can't wait for the premiere of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl tonight, then another new episode every night of the week. For as long as Pokemon has been on tv Ash's Pikachu has never evolved & it doesn't look like Pikachu will ever evolve.

The series has lasted too long,but its a huge source of income for Nintendo.So you can count on it lasting for a long,long time.

I quit watching Pokemon after Ash left Johto.
As of now, I only know pokemon #1-251.
I quit after that, but now, there are pokemon that reach #1786 and one is called Rehfkjghjkghghjhghghoto.
