At least one of them is in juvie...
Yeah I can wait 3 months for this as I'm sure its going to be worth it. Also, Netflix really knows how to get the hype/buzz going with there awesome promos.
Bret Ernst was on podcast "Honeydew" and said season 3 was already done and Netflix wanted to wait for everyone to catch up and binge watch the other 2 seasons before releasing. January does make sense as most should have had the time to watch if they didn't when it was on Youtube.
Considering most of the YT critics are finally watching now...the logic checks out
This friggin show has no right being as good as it is. I have about three episodes left in Season 2 and I'm enjoying more than the majority of TV I've seen recently. Major kudos to everyone involved for making a daggum Karate Kid reboot this good.
They know damn well they could’ve dropped Season 3 for like Thanksgiving or Christmas. But damn that was a good teaser!
Miguel is going to wake up with a different personality. That’s my hunch.
‘Cobra Kai’ Again Tops Nielsen U.S. Streaming Chart, Keeps ‘The Boys’ At Bay – Deadline
Could have, but NetFlix in order to keep subscriptions instead of folks who binge a show and stop paying has to think like a General with reserve forces always ready to pass through the lines and take the lead rather than like a broadcast network trying to get advertising money.
So they stagger their shows releases much like the movie studios deconflict their releases even if NetFlix doesn't have to worry about available screens or the opening weekend box office report.
That's crazy but can't say it's not deserved. The show has its problems with cheesiness and absurdity but the films embraced that too; it's still just incredibly entertaining all the same.
It killed me that Robbie did Miguel dirty but then again Miguel did Robbie dirty first. I love those two guys they're up their with my favourite characters right now.
I still think Johnny loves Miguel a little bit more than Robby.
I’m sure Johnny loves Robby but with Miguel he’s having the relationship he never had with Robby
Miguel shows him respect and looks up to him. He hasn’t had that since probably high school from people.
Chiming in, I'm expecting Ali (Elisabeth Shue), Chozen (Yuji "Don" Okumato) which that was definitely him in one of the S3 promos, Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita), and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith).
Outside shot at Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan). Since Daniel will be in Okinawa, it should be natural to include a small reunion with Kumiko as well as Chozen. Secondly, if they're exploring more of Kreese's backstory and how the dojos and Cobra Kai was formed, Silver makes perfect sense.
Lastly, and I could have seen this rumor on here, the Detention Center Robby is in, SJDC, could stand for Silver Junior Detention Center being Silver was a millionaire back in Karate Kid Part III. Very much looking forward to this, like Stranger Things, I don't think you should go any further than wrapping this up in a Season 5. Thoughts?
I mean, I totally see Silver getting into the private prison business.
I hope Kumiko does make an appearance
Recently watched Karate Kid Part 2 and she was so beautiful
Tamlyn Tomita is one beautiful woman, that would be great seeing all of Daniel’s exes.
Can’t imagine his wife would like that though.
She was on The Good Doctor on ABC recently and still looks good.
I just finished watching the Next Karate Kid on Netflix, and for real, Julie would kick Daniel’s ass.
It would be great if they could get Hillary Swank in this series. Would she be open to doing that though? What else is she doing these days?
She had a series on Netflix called Away.
Man, I remember how badass she was in Million Dollar Baby. Hillary, in that kind of shape, would mop the floor with Macchio and Zabka, even if they tried to double team her.
