Cold-Loving Asian Cockroach Invades New York

Time to break out the Raid & flamethrowers.

There are cockroaches that have wings in Florida, NOW we have some that love the cold? What the **** is happening.......they are going to take over the world.

Quick someone photoshop a parka onto a picture of a cockroach

Hate to break it to you but they all have wings and they all can fly although most of them don't like to. Florida just has the misfortune of having some who like to fly more than others.

You also have red ones, you freaks.

Teelie, never fails to come in and lay down the law. I apologize for my lack of cockroach wing knowledge.

I hate them. I think they're the only animal I truly hate, or despise with the heat of a thousand suns so I've learned about them, probing them for weaknesses and how to eradicate them from the earth.

Plus, I used to live in Florida and those buggers are uglier than most.

I hate roaches too...I was awakened today by the building exterminator...Would not surprise me if these things are crawling around now. I'm close to the high line :(

Our advantage against everything that can be thrown at us is now negligible. Dang. On the plus side, Russias is as well.

I never saw a roach until I moved to Orlando....I'm with you teelie they are honestly the only creature I truly despise. I will kill them while laughing uncontrollably like a maniac, but capture a spider and set him free outside.

I feel sorry for New Yorkers
And people of Florida too

I've actually yelled swears at them while killing them.

And though I hate them, I'm not afraid of them. I just really, really do not like seeing them. I have a friend who used to keep the hissing variety as pets. I had no problems resiting the urge to squash them oddly enough but I wasn't very interested in looking at them either.

There's also some progress in the global war on terrorist cockroach program. This glow in the dark species is now extinct. Hopefully. Sure it took blowing them up with a volcano, but it's progress. :D

"Palmetto bugs" is a really ****ed up way for Floridians to describe flying cockroaches...just saying......
