DC more or less prints a trade paperback collection of every story a few months after it's initial run in the monthly issues, but they haven't really collected a lot of stories from the past. What stories would you like to see in trade paperback?

I, for one, would love to see some stories from the 80s and early 90s , such as:

Dark Knight, Dark City (Batman #452-454)

If the Riddler is indeed featured in the next Batman movie installment,I bet Dc will release Dark Knight/Dark City to coincide with the movie's release.

A few other trades I'd like to see would be the Clayfaces' Mud Pack storyline from the 90's, the original Killer Croc stories from the 80's and all of artist Don Newton's work collected.

The Alan Grant & Norm Breyfogle stories.

Kelley Jones's run was also very fun to read.

I agree fully with the Don Newton collected works. I think when it comes to Batman artists he's been one that has flown under a lot of readers radars. His artwork is AMAZING!

I agree with the Don Newton championers which reminded me of something. I was going to post the covers but found this neat article instead. This epic needs the TPB/hardcover treatment ASAP.

It's been long overdo, especially with how well the Strange Apparations collection was received about 10 years back.

Nice to see a few others show some love for Newton's work.I met Dan Didio a few years ago at the Emerald City Comic Con and asked him about whether or not we'll see a collection some day. From my recollection,he said something along the lines of working out legalities with the late, great artist's family. Hopefully, things have worked out by now and we'll get something in the near future.
