Forget shoveling: Sell the snow!

LOVELAND, Colo. - As if Colorado residents don't have enough snow to dig out from, one resident is offering more for a price on eBay. Starting bids were holding steady Friday at 99 cents for snow from "Blizzard I and Blizzard II" being offered by Mary Walker. She and husband, Jim, got the idea for selling snow after shoveling mounds from two storms a week apart that together dumped more than 4 feet along the Front Range.

"I figured eBay has ghosts and all sorts of weird stuff, so why not snow?" said Walker, who teaches business workshops on employee communications.

What. The. Hell.

I seen on eBay about 6 months ago that someone was selling Lucky Charms marshmellows in a bag. Jay Leno usually has on his show about things on eBay.

well why not , there are stupid ppl who would buy anything on ebay I say good for her , exloit their stupidity and take their money while you are at it.

wtf? snow? how dumb can you be? well not as dumb as someone who'd bid on it.

This is an entirely ridiculous idea. Selling snow from a blizzard online. :whatever:

The obvious thing to do is to make lemonade with the stuff, get a notary to authenticate it and THEN sell it online. Pssh.

And the snow will be melted when the Post Office delivers it

If I lived near her, I would buy some, pick it up myself, then roll it into a snowball and throw it at her for doing something so silly.
