Comedies where women were actually....funny

Most comedies that come out usually portray the female as the love interest or straight man as it were, reacting to what some other crazy ass dude does. Are there any comedy movies you know of where the females actually are the bizzare, humorous ones, or take the pratfalls, etc.? Only ones I can think of is Strangers with Candy, Reno 911, and Charlie's Angels, where they did have knowledge and were able to fight, but all three of them were just as goofy as the other characters.

I think the women were funnier back in the 40's and 50's. Nowadays they just act like shrews to the goofy ass guys, then fall in love at the end of the flick with their slovenly ways.
