Comic books are over priced

especially since they look for any reason to up the price

"ummm....this issue is in HD...that'll be 6 dollars"
"but it's usually 3 dollars"
"yeah, but it's HD!!"

Comic book prices aren't jacked up on purpose at all, they stay fairly consistent.

$2.99 for a 22 page comic book.

$3.99 for a 48 page comic

$4.99 for a 64 page comic book.

$5.99 for a prestige format comic book.

Wow, they dont have a reason!:whatever:

Now that I understood.

I think I lost a small number of brain cells reading it, but I understood it.

Casual readers are a thing of the past, comic book reading is a niche market now.
I really unfortunate fact. Unfortunately.

If you're going to brag about being European and speaking superior english, please type it as well as you think you do. It's you're, two spaces after a comma, one after a period. Have a nice day.

Sales are up though, but they seem to be committing the same mistakes from the past.

You forgot to add "I'm" instead of "im". :o

I wish they'd do some more thinks from the past. Distant past, at least. Comics in drugstores and checkout lanes. Graphic Novels being more integrated with regular novels, etc. I was probably kept out of comics for years simply because I didn't know where the hell to get them from.

Thats up to the bookstores. I think the main problem is Diamond. They have a monopoly on the whole shipping comics thing. I think there needs to be some more mainstream presence for comics. I mean, people go and plug the movies and everything but they never stop and talk about the comics. Someone like Kevin Smith shows up on Leno every month just for the heck of it, he can be paying us back for Daredevil Target by advertising some comics *******.:cmad:
