It's pretty sweet, I got the original though. It's just kind of strange to see how this is going to fit into current continuity, given some of Batman's actions throughout the book...

...regardless........the wrestling arc was bad....the universe jumping crap was too much.....what a huge let down FNSM has been thus far ...IMO

Not only is alt-Ben still here (alt or not, it shouldn't happen), BUT in the same issue Ben KILLED Spider-man 2211 and a guy that had suggested killing Jarvis to him. I almost threw up at how unbelieveably out of character and **** that issue was.

I think the guy that suggested killing Jarvis was the one that killed SM 2211. This is how I read it, but they were both alt-Ben's and the evil one in the allie killed the good one and switched his clothes.

To me, FNSM just doesnt bring anything to the table...

ASM tells Peter's continuing story, and offers up new scenarios for him...

SSM is focusing on B list villains we havent seen in years...

FNSM? supernatural mumbo jumbo, alternate universe mumbo jumbo, and reverts Flash back to where he was 40 years ago? No thanks.

You know, with the title, Friendly Neighborhood, why not make this book a new version of Untold Tales Of Spider-Man? That way, at least those fans unhappy with the current version of ASM can have an alternative of classic (but new) stories of the web-slinger to read.

Right now, it just seems like a pointless book to have. Imo.
