Whats some comics you think would make entertaining movies. I'm not talking typical superheroes but other comics as well.So lets see em...hell cast em if you want.

The Unearthed Cemetery Blues

Cemetary Blues follows Ridley and Falstaff, two bumbling monster hunters who battle evil forces, drink a few pints, and destroy untold amounts of private property in the process.

Hector plasm

Even ghosts tell stories... and the name whispered in hushed tones over the dying embers of campfires past is that of the drifter, the con man, the shaman, the witch doctor, the exorcist... HECTOR PLASM." (Description of Hector Plasm: De Mortuis)

Skullkickers

Skullkickers is a series about two nameless mercenaries (a dwarf, nicknamed "Shorty" and a human, "Baldy") who have become embroiled in a plot rife with assassination, dark magics and necromancy. Along the way, there is much violence to be had, as Shorty is a fan of using two axes and Baldy posesses a quick-shooting revolver.

Amber Atoms
Follow the ongoing adventures of this modern day "Flash Gordon" as Amber dreams of leaving her mundane life, but not exactly how she imagined. Mercenaries and aliens suddenly invade Amber's world as she learns that her family history could decide the fate of the galaxy.

Dynamo 5

He was the world's greatest hero, but Captain Dynamo was not a faithful husband. Now he's dead and his family is trying to piece their lives together. As his enemies descend on his unprotected city, Captain Dynamo's widow rounds up his five illegitimate children, each of whom have inherited one of their father's super-powers. Can these total strangers come to terms with their powers, their father's legacy and each other as total chaos erupts?

Implaer

One of the worst blizzards in history cripples New York City in one fell swoop. But the blinding cold and snow are the least of the city's worries. For aboard a drifting cargo ship stirs an unfathomable evil that will unleash a horror the likes of which the world has never seen. And in two nights, New York City will be no more

Lazarus

James Lazarus suddenly finds himself on the run at the behest of his girlfriend, Dr. Emily Hoffman. Run off the road and left for dead, Lazarus rises and begins his urgent search to figure out who is responsible for attacking them and why. What he discovers is that like his namesake, Lazarus is immortal… only it's in the most painful way.

Moriarty

Professor Moriarty is on the run: He has been framed for two murders, his identity exposed. Moriarty makes an uneasy alliance with the Jade Serpent, and together they must delve further into the world of the Black Hand and the mysterious device that holds the secret of the Dark Chamber.

Skullkickers would be freaking awesome with Kevin Durand playing baldy and ray winstone playing shorty. Hack/slash would rock too, of course Allison Scags should play cassie. A few more would be

Dingo from boom comics, Invincible would be a great animated movie, Hammer of the Gods , The Black Coat, and Incorruptible

Youngblood, directed by Brett Ratner. I would love to see the heights of awfulness it could attain...

...after I torrent it, that is, because there's no way I'd pay to see it. Ah, if ever there was a property and a director combination which deserved each other, that's the one.

What about Baltimore or the Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire. It would be a good movie for Mike Mignolia and Del Torro to do together since Hellboy was awesome, jus needs to be a tad bit more gloom than Hellboy was....ya know dark and moody

side note: Come to think of it Tim Burton would also be great on it...if we could get the Edward Siccorhands/Batman Burton to do it.....not the new burton

That's not a comic, it's just that it has illustrations every few pages or so so it's more appropriately, an illustrated novel. Nonetheless I liked it and seeing someone like Burton tackling a Mignola material is something I'd definitely be interested in.

I like Miller's comics, so more of that I'd like to see. Either Ronin or Hard Boiled, speaking of which and also someone doing a proper adaptation of The Spirit.

True its not a comic but the follow ups are. Baltimore and the cursed bells and another one.I think its called cursed bells I havent read those yet...but there are several follow up comics. It would be badass to see on the screen.Seems like Goyer was writing a treatment for it but I havent heard anything on it in a while

Scalped-well this would actually make a better cable TV show
The Waking
The Umbrella Academy-I think we need some more quirky superhero films
Terminator 2029-1984-would've been better than Salvation
Captain America: The Truth
The American Way
Incognegro
Human Target (Peter Milligan books)
Dracula: In the Company of Monsters

T.H. U..N.D.E.R. agents
dynamo 5 sounds good

Incognito would be cool. I liked it a good bit, I also think Salem:Queen of Thorns would be cool...reminds me of Solomon Kane and it doesnt seem like we will ever see that movie

Haunt could make a great movie too.The conflict of brothers mixed with black ops and the supernatarul...then add in this would be one movie 3d could serve well....could be good

Well with Hollywood showing they can work star packed movies. I would love to see Astro City.

Crimson Avenger (#2) With a small tie-in to Crimson Avenger (#1)

We are still Waiting on Dethlok!!

Savage Dragon

Make a Epic Final Crisis and 52 trilogy

Maybe a Cloak and Dagger tv Show

Fear Agent (Think Raiders Of The Lost Arc meets The American Astronaut)

Mystery Society

Atomic Robo

Simon Dark

Criminal Macabre

Oh! I'm sorta tempted to say the The Strange Adventures Of HP Lovecraft:

But as thoroughly enjoyable a read as it is, if they're gonna adapt a comic book account of Lovecraft's life, I'd prefer they do:

Keith Giffen's Lovecraft.
It's factual elements are closer to reallife events, the plot's main focus is much more satisfyingly based on horror and madness, whilst the whole ethos of the story is just much more... Well, Lovecraftian...

Some big live action Mandrake film that place the character in the superhero genre for good.

i always wonted to see static shock moive. it may not go over too good.i say give it a shot. if cartoon network make ben 10 movie they couldmake a static shockmoive.

I forgot about Icon and Rocket. Quantum Man and Rusty would be a cool comedy
