I guess the most obvious choice would be:
Chris Cooper. He was approached by Nolan and he declined before Oldman was cast.
Yep, we're pretty much done here. Cranston for the win.
Close thread. Cranston is only choice.
A Gordon with white hair please.
He'll be 60-1 by the time the next movie gets started. But that's cool. I want an older Gordon this time...and Bryan would make an awesome, wiser, tired, more badass Gordon
gary oldman was 54...
In the latter lol
In the latter for Cranston, he'll be 70 or something!
There's really no one else, short of bringing Gary Oldman back (who was beautiful - and woefully underutilized in Rises).
Absolutely agree...there isn't a better option out there.
Michael Biehn is my choice for Gordon.
I'd be happy with him in a number of roles.
If WB doesnt at least try to get Cranston this movie is a fail
Amen to that.
Bryan Cranston all the way
If you're WB, you hand Cranston a blank check.
I wouldn't mind seeing Idris Elba or, if you want to be really ambitious, someone like Brad Pitt or Hugh Jackman.
Elba? Pitt? Jackman?
I've lost the will to live here
What's with the trend of casting Idris Elba in every part of every film these days?
Oh,and -yeah- Cranston FTW.
