No that's never been done, usually someone gets 2 or 3 chances here to change before they are banned though.

By change you mean tone it down, "People don't change."

for example, the old fan art contests used to give away actual prizes, what about if a prize now was a bigger avatar

I agree with this as well. It could be implemented for the fan art contests, some community games, etc....or hell how about good behavior Someone with no infractions in an entire year gets a 125x125

And as much as I miss Fran as well...he was warned but was still a naughty boy So that was his own doing. Now people like Holly were banned unjustifiably and that is still reasons for debate today.

I think if someone is banned, ban them for 6 months or for a year. I think it is lame to ban someone that was a part of this board for a few years to never let them come back. Everyone deserves a second chance and something like a probation could be initiated until they can prove that they are back with the masses. Like, not being able to post pictures, not being able to create threads, n00b status in other words. Give them their old username but make them start from scratch again but give them the chance to come back and contribute like they once did

This maybe true but the reason she was banned was unjustful and a mod lied but that is the past. I also understand that people get multiple chances when they are here but I think allowing them a long time to cool off and come back wouldn't be such a crazy idea. I know a couple of people that wish they hadn't been booted and are sorry for what they did because they actually miss this place now that they know they cannot come back. And also to be honest, we all know there has been some people get banned and come back under a new name and a new ip

It's been brought up many a time before. I don't know the official stance on it as of right now, but I can tell you that it's definitely been discussed within the past couple of days.

It's something we're looking into, but I can't make any promises.
