On Topic: How about the ability for the board to remember a font color for a user?

Like say I were to use a grey font (since you wouldn't be able to see silver...), Now, I'd have to keep setting that up for each post. But given the ability to just remember, it'd be kinda cool.

i just wonder what kind of ramnifications it'd have for site browsing. what i mean is this: ok there's like 30,000 members here, say only 10% want to use this feature, so that's 3,000 members that the site must remember custimizations for. would that work on cookies, or what?

Good point, but it should only be as much as any of the other information that the site/our computers remember for our accounts.

Maybe it would save, as you said, as a cookie so then our own individual computers remember it. So that way the site is fine, and for us, it'd be a bite's worth of information.

Kinda interested in how that'd look... Hmmm...Pretty good.

I wonder how it would look esthetically. Sure colors like brown, black, grey and even blue are fine but what about those bright colors like pink? I just remember that one poster who used to post in pink all the time (and in the biggest font at first) and how distracting and an eyesore it was. I think her name was Female Torch. Whatever the case I am just thinking how bad it could get with everyone using different color fonts. This place would turn into some kind of retro bar...or CC's profile page. Not that I am saying CC's profile page is an eyesore, just that it sometimes gives me headaches.

That's a lie, you'd respond anyway, copyright your responses and then sell them back to other forumers for use later at a fee. With the profit, you'd buy up stock in Flintstones vitamins; citing them for saving your life. The news and media attention would garner up a large revenue for the company and you'd make even more money back.

Once you become a millionaire, you'd copyright the name "November Rain" and force him to pay you $0.99 every time he posts. He would be unable to comply with this and end up changing his name. You'd offer him the name "Kimbo", and then use the rest of your money to buy up the rights to Super Hero Hype and Crave online.....Banning him from the site, unless he allowed you to respond to his posts.

To go back on one of my previous suggestions that was pretty much unanimously well received. I think we either expand the Tech Support forum into a general techie clubhouse or maybe even expand the video games forum into games and tech. Have a subforum for all tech discussion. I mean, everything in the world is focusing toward the latest and greatest technological advances.

HDTV and Home Theater
Cellphones and Smartphones
Computers and Laptops
Gadgets

etc.

I know Malice would have a field day in a forum like that.
