Marion Cotillard?

Cast size seems about the same. All that needs to happen is proper parceling out of roles.

Ken Watanabe's "Ra's" was in the movie for like 5 min. Maroni for a little bit more, barely.

Do you think JGL and Marion's character will have the same amount of screentime? There is much more to juggle this time around. Talia is a major character in the Batman universe. And JGL is sure to get a good chunk of time otherwise he would not have been cast.

If Marion is Talia and JGL is Alberto Falcone:

i think Talia is like Rachel and Falcone is like Maroni in screen time.

I'm sure 'The Chechan' (Ritchie Coster) had more screen time than Maroni and I'm sure Eric Roberts is considered a bigger star than he is.

Then who would you compare Catwoman's role to? And JGL is a much bigger star than Roberts now. Total waste of JGL if he is in it for as long as Roberts was. Although I do agree that JGL is Alberto.

I'm thinking they might cut down the screentime of some of the regulars (Bale, Oldman, Freeman and Caine) to make way for the villains (expanding cast). Maybe Oldman's? He had a good amount of screentime in TDK. I do hope that's not the case though because I love the interactions of Bruce/Batman with Lucius, Alfred and Gordon. Those are the backbones of the movie.

Last thing we need is to cut down the heroes screen time just to squeeze in more time for the villains. This is Nolan's last Batman movie, lets focus as much as possible on Bruce and his relationships with his allies.

I agree. I would be more worried if we didn't hear Nolan promise that this will be about ending "Bruce's story" so hopefully that's not the case. I would really hate it if they make this a movie where Batman is a secondary character running in circles around all these villains' stories.

What we all need to remember is that bigger name stars are going to be taking smaller roles in this because it's guaranteed to be a huge hit and it's a chance to be 'part of something'. Why do you think that all of these amazing actors and actresses sign on for what are essentially cameo roles in Harry Potter movies?

wow, what a non-issue this really is hahaha :P

Plus it makes the films feel richer. Imagine Lucius played by some regular actor who just hands Bruce his suit?

What about Catwoman = Dent and Bane = The Joker. And there's still Coleman Reese's screen time.
(I'm not saying Catwoman will be a villain)

This. You could also cut down some of Bane's screen time and give JGL a little more than Maroni making him comparable with Wilkinson's Falcone in screentime.

Ok, so we have:

Bane = Joker
Selina Kyle/Catwoman = Harvey Dent/Two-Face
Talia Al Ghul = Rachel Dawes
Alberto Falcone(speculation) = Maroni & Chechen

Plus, like you mentioned, we still have Coleman Reese screen time.

Now, how do we work Robin Williams as Hugo Strange into this. :awesome:

I'd be surprised if Bane (or any one villain) got as much screentime as Joker.

Joker probably had about half an hour of screentime. Undoubtedly someone has bothered to time it though.
