I figured I'd start this thread, to challenge all of who oppose Bush. For those of us who oppose Bush, pick something good you feel he's done, and point it out.

If you support Bush, go kill yourself. just kidding.

If you support Bush, or are a republican, than pick somebody like Bill Clinton, Pelosi or some other liberal and point to something good you think they have done in politics.

As a Bush hater, here I go.

Moon base and mars mission. I think this is extremely great. NASA went stale, and now they will break out of it, because of this. We will get massive spin off technologies from this. Because of the roboit habitat builders being designed for the astraonauts, the homeowners industry is expecting a ground breaking revolution within the next few decades. It's expected that the cost of owning a home will drop by 50%.

Not to mention everything else great that will come from it. Learning to live on the moon permanetely will be a huge step in humans expanding out to the universe.

I agree with Bush on the missile defense system, even though not much has come of it yet.

He moved very quickly on disrupting Alqueda's base of operations in Afghanistan, even though he didn't do a good follow up on managing Afghanistan, because all of his attention went to Iraq.

I think that's it.

Right or wrong (wrong), stubborn or not (stubborn), you have to at least give Bush credit for having the balls to do what he wants in office when practically everyone else in the country doesnt. As already mentioned, investing in the misile defense system is going to be a good thing in the long run, and the extra funding into NASA is moving our space program at a rapid speed. However, this is money that could be spent on more pressing issues.
