Hey all, long time lurker, few and far between poster. I'm doing a presentation based around compositing for my "Compositing for Technical Direction" class. We are to pick one movie (I picked The Dark Knight of course) and show one scene where it depicts compositing, what works/doesn't etc. etc. I need some good sources for background info just so I get my facts straight also the scene, I was thinking of the scene where batman is in front of the computers that use the sonar device, or the penthouse scene. I'm thinking the latter will lend itself to better shots and more information. Any help is greatly appreciated, any sites to put me in the right direction or even if you know post here. Thanks and we can even discuss compositing in general if anyone feels like it.

I don't think there's any info on the compositing of that scene in particular, but you can look up Double Negative (the company that did the VFX work on TDK) and see if there are any interviews about it.

After a quick Google search, I came up with this:

Hope that helps!
