On my old computer my window is stretched alot sideways to its to the point were i can hardly see the start button. Can someone help and tell me how to fix this?

you mean the start button is "off the screen"?

Has it been normally placed before?

I would suggest fooling with the monitor settings on the monitor to move the screen image.

This happened to me once when my cat walked across my keyboard. (I wanted to kill him for this)

What my cat did was change the display settings to a higher level.

If that's the problem, and I don't know the keyboard commands to do this, so you'll have to get help on this, go to control panel, click on display, and then change the resolution settings to a lower level.
