Watching the Daily Show tonight I found out Congress is once again attacking the Video Game industry and showed how racist and ignorant they really are;

Pennslyvania Republican Congressman Joe Pitts, "It's safe to say a wealthy kid from the suburbs can play Grand Theft Auto or similar games without turning to a life of crime, but a poor kid who lives in a neighborhood where people really do steal cars or deal drugs, shoot cops might not be so fortunate" "There's almost certainly a child in America that's going to be hurt by this game maybe his dad's in jail or his big brother's down on the corner dealing drugs"

Dont worry... These anti gaming bills are always so stupid and poorly thought out they never make it very far.

One of the few time you can be happy for the ignorance in governmant :up:

What a stupid argument.

Oh, I know it's not gonna get passed or go anywhere, it's just Congressman wasting their time and our money. It was really once I heard that Joe Pitts quote (that's an exact quote, I replayed it a couple times to make sure it was correct) that I felt I needed to make a subject.

Cause those Columbine kids were from such a rough area, not that I think video games were even the reason for their acts.

Congress is ****ing stupid:o Not just Republicans and not just Democrats. All of Congress is ****ing stupid.

It's been stupid for a century, perhaps longer.

Oy, this is fairly ridiculous. US congress = Video game morons.

they should get rid of that rule that says you cant cane your fellow congressmen, then I should run for congress and start caning people when they do s**t this stupid :o

heh, that clip was both awesome, and amazing. awesome. and amazing.
