CHAS FACES A PARENT'S WORST NIGHTMARE -- MARK MARGOLIS GUEST STARS AS 'FELIX FAUST' -- Thousands of people across Brooklyn have slipped into a mysterious coma, including Chas' (Charles Halford) daughter. John (Matt Ryan) must find and defeat the evil behind it before it consumes the city. Angélica Celaya also stars.

First look at Felix Faust:

Chas listening to Blue Öyster Cult! I thought they did a decent job with the seance scene and I wasn't expecting the medium to burn at the end. I really like the casting of Mark Margolis as Felix Faust and hope he's not just a one off villain. I like that they focused more on Chas and that we learned how he's able to survive all the time. Preview for next week looks interesting.

these eps are definitely getting better and better. looks like next ep is influenced by the family man arc ! didn't expect them to adapt that story in the first season. definitely excited for that !

Fun fact: The episode is a loosely based adaptation of All His Engines

More like it'll be Ritchie related since Cerone hinted at his arc being more in line with Ritchie's comic fate

The last two eps have really kicked it up... too bad people aren't watching... :csad:

3.5M did tune in. The first time we're back at that amount since Danse Vaudou though the demo is back at the same 0.9 with The Darkness Beneath and Rage of Caliban.

Chas pulled a Con old Conjob could be proud of.

I'm not sure if John lied about about trying to cure Chas and is using him/manipulating him or if he was telling the truth.

Only nitpick, I didn't like how the explosion looked. :funny:

Is that a good number for NBC?

Yeah, thats what I was thinking to... but then I thought about how heartbroken Id be if that were the case so I tried to dismiss it haha

Am I missing something, but the ending came across a bit stupid. Why (if all it took was to kill him to free the souls) didn't John and Chas just walk in and shoot Faust when they first found out where he was?

Probably because he had all kinds of protections spells. Chas negated his magic with the sinew from Achilles' heel.

Forgot it negated magic. Makes sense now. Cheers.

Another great episode. The seance scene was fantastic. This series has really kicked it into high gear. Sad that it's not likely to get renewed. It's become a great series, probably my favorite superhero show currently.

Not sure if he was lying or nor, but their definitely was some manipulation going on in that scene.

Great episode - Problem with people talking about cancellation it's placed so much fear in people. Some of my friends have refused to start watching it because they don't wnat to get attached too it, and then have it cancelled on them...

Surely you told them the reports are more down to opinion rather than the facts. Until Cerone or NBC say otherwise, they're welcome to watch and ignore the false reports

I just realized that Mark Margolis's character in Breaking Bad and Felix Faust both went out with an explosion.
