"Constantine": What DID they use from the comics?

If you read the wikipedia article on the Constantine movie, there's a whole detailed section on the differences between the movie and the original HELLBLAZER comics. Go ahead. Read it. I'll wait:

Ah, you're back. So as you can see, there's an awful lot of stuff they changed for the film besides Constantine's accent and hair color. Probably more than half the things in the movie by the look of it.

Now, since I've never read Hellblazer (my loss I'm sure), I must ask: What specifically in the movie is straight out of the comics? There's gotta be something, right? Right?

One of the worst adaptaions EVER!! I don't care wha tanyone says, thats crap. It's also one of the resons why film fans are real stupid and say things like "it dosent translate well onscreen".

Example:The director said he didn't have Reeves wear the traditonal brown/tan trenchcoat becasue they did test shots of it and it "didnt look good on screen". This lead to TONS of film fans making the exact same claim except for one thing they left out....

IT LOOKS FINE ON SCREEN!

There are TONS of flicks wear dudes wear brown/tan trenchcoats and it looks perfectly freaking fine on film. Hell look at most movies (specifiaclly cop ones) during the 70's/80's (hell even t.v. shows about cops.) you couldnt throw a rock without hitting a dozen guys in these coats.

I admit I didn't mind the movie, but it should not have been called Constantine. It should have been isolated and instead of saying based on the Comic series Hellblazer shoudl be inspired by.

This is a beef I have with these types of movies. It was the same with Will Smith's version of I am Legend it really had very little to do with the book and should not have had the same title.
