Suppose it depends no loyal singer wants to be to X3

Plus One factor is bobby may be be able to go into ice form but actually can't turn his clothes into ice but can Ice over them which makes sense

The question is How far can his ice form go in a live action movie, how ice is drawn in comics and cartoons won't translate in the same way, you have to actually make it look like ice and what it would look like if someone really was made of ice or covered in ice,and technically he shouldn't be able to turn his clothes into ice even if he can go into ice form himself, so what I'm saying is... Either way I cant see it looking straight out the comics

Perfect excuse to keep him iced up after battle scenes until he acquires new clothes. :word:

Well, I seriously doubt Ashmore is talking about throwing snowballs...

Arrhgg my eyes! If this is the best they can do, I would rather Iceman stay's as flesh.
Just do some practical effects with make up and dry ice. Some post production effects to make him look "icey".

I hope so. I'm worried that they will over rely on effects. I'm not expecting them to meet Avatar levels. I think one scene in full ice form will keep fans happy. I just hope it looks believable. The X3 effects were complete *****.

It would be cool if he looked EXACTLY like the comic, bald ice head and all. But then normal form he has hair and a beard. Could be cool. Ice beard can be cool

The Ice look looks to me to be veey hard. He'll have to go from being clothed with hair to being nude, bald and icy then back to being clothed and with hair. How the hell could that work?

I agree I feel the only way people will get the ice form they want he cant have all those clothes on, just the underwear, lol. Im kidding if they give him a bodysuit it could possibly look better, I didnt much like the look of it in X3.

I have no problem with the ice-form in X3. If they don't change it in DOFP, it would be fine to me. I just want to see it more! :D

So people want him to wear just pants and be naked? because it's the only way to show him as full ice form. He's wearing clothes, IMO it looked good in X3, better than would look as snowman.

Snowman Iceman from the comics would look TERRIBLE in live action. At least in X3 he kind of looked like actual ice, not snow. Now, I would like to see him sliding around on sheets of ice like in the comics, or like Frozone in the Incredibles.

I thought that the X3 Iceman concept was pretty spot on. He turned into ice or iced over but his suit didn't magically disappear.

My only problem with the iceform in X3, is the shape of Bobby's hair looked awful. And I wonder how his face is gonna look like now that he has a beard.

It's a training wheels look. It'd be like Human Torch in human form starting to get hot and sweating a bit. We want to see the real deal now. It's been more than 10 years of ice-teasing!

I think many may have to be prepared that the ice form may be just the same as X3 one

    Singer wants continuity after all

He was a kid and X-man in training & that was the 1st time we'd ever seen him transform. It doesn't defy continuity that he might have developed his powers as he uses them more.

Doesn't change the fact we already seen his ice form done a certain way in X3 and singer may wanna stick to that for continuity sake if anything

There is no proof to suggest singer may change the ice form but of course it is possible he could but at the same time what's more likely that he goes with what we already seen or goes with something new just for the sake of it

*shrug* just have to see but probably best to be open minded
