I had never seen this picture before, until I recently purchased the official movie magazine.

Batman looks really scary and demonic (Kind of reminds me of Demon bats from BB)... plus Keaton's eyes are amazing.

You may have seen it before... and my camera (no scanner at the min) obviously does not do the pic justice... but WOW! :wow:

That is some scary ****. I love it!

What exactly are we looking at? Is that a promo pic, a test shot, an alternate take...what exactly is it?

It's called.. computer screen.

I'm not quite sure what it is... as I said, it's taken from the Official Movie Magazine from the time of the film's release.

I imagine it's simply one of the pictures that was taken on set... by someone documenting the making of the movie.

I just thought it was interesting...

So cool.

If there's one thing I think the Nolan films could benefit from, it's more atmosperic imagery like this.

My thoughts exactly...as far as moody, iconic imagery...Burton > Nolan.

I mean seeing Bale in the suit etc is great and all...but all the shots of Keaton unfurling his cape and descending/crashing through the skylight/etc...nothing was more bad ass than that.

There was a souvenior magazine put out by the Topps trading card comp. and one hardcover book by UK's Titan books, which is this one from?

I never even thought about that. I think you may be right.

No Batman looks like the actor that's inside. If they did, the bat-suit would be totally useless and Bruce Wayne would be scary by himself.

Yes they do, I can always tell who is under the cowl. And that side profile, chin, jaw, and lips look nothing like keaton...perhaps a bigger stuntman.

Actually the pic looks like Hellboy playing dressup as Batman.

That's an awesome pic! :awesome:

Happily enough I've never wondered that myself since I've never noticed any short stature from Keaton's Batman, which means that stilts or not, it worked on film. :)
