Superman Returns Could have a Lois Lane (prequel style) series worked

This was an idea a friend an I came up with in a discussion about SR back in the day, and for some reason recently started to think of it again, thought, I’d mention, see what others thought

Could this of been a good way of bridging the gap between Superman 2 and Superman returns
Much in the style of the Sarah Connors chronicle (gained I original thought of this before, tscc, and it may seem kinda like a rip off idea, now)

A series following the life of Lois, dealing with the lose of superman, her pregnancy,…ect.
(Could have been a way to answer a lot of the questions, that SR left people with, and maybe even raise alil hype of a sequel)

I mean, with the whole “reintroducing of the character” style reboot in talk, this is somewhat irrelevant, but, hypothetically could this of worked

I dont think so.. no one really wants to see a 2 hour movie about Lois lane if superman is not in it. I mean what's gonna happen? She's gonna be pregnant.. give birth.. meet richard.. raise a kid and write stories. Lois has never been that interesting of a character. The Sarah conners chronicles works because she's really the main star of the series besides the terminator. She's the protector... the main action heroine. There wouldnt be anything exciting in the movie. It'd be a chick flick.

first of all, the suggestion was for a tv series, not movie
just saying, for the record, if that wasn't clear (which i guess it wasn't, sorry)

secondly, ya, there is something to your point, but, the idea isn’t really suppose to be for an action based show
but, with supes gone, there could be alot of villains running a mock, kinda thing going on

and it wouldn't of necessary just focused on Lois, but, on how the whole city, (for the matter the world) learned to get along with out him, as well

if lois was boring then she would be relevant at all. and yes this would cleared up alot of things and made supes character and hers (at this point in SR) more solid.
nothing long a nice 1 hour short.
