More Robin talk. I never drop the subject :)

This time it's not about a future version. I go back in time and change film history, to make certain things a little better.

Chris O'Donnell was just too old, and didn't feel right. Who could have been Batman's sidekick in his first modern live action appearance?
Here's one of my suggestions:

Acting-wise, DiCaprio would have been top notch but going for looks, then we have Furlong.
Maybe Christian Bale rather than any of them?

If only he had lived, River Phoenix would have been the ideal Dick Grayson/ Nightwing.

According to imdb.

Before Chris O'Donnell was ultimately cast, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Toby Stephens, and Scott Speedman had all been considered for the role of Robin at some point.

*****

Edward Furlong had the right look but would of been a strange Robin.

Christian Bale would have been a really good choice actually...

Yeah, you hit the Robin look right on spot there, with the beard and everything. We all know that Batman is a period piece drama. :cwink:

I throw in a few more suggestions as well: Tobey Maguire, Mark Wahlberg, Wil Wheaton and Barret Oliver (if he hadn't retired from acting)

Will Smith. It could have changed world. No wait he was 2 years older than O'Donnell back then.

If Burton stayed on we might of gotten Marlon Wayans.
