Why is there question on the mark of the beast? The Bible states it as 666. "Six hundred, sixty, and six" I think is the exact phrase. Unless original text translation is the problem, in which I'd figure somene would have caught well before now.

It was in the translation. Or more to the point, what they were usuing for the translation. The oldest telling of revelations they have currently found, on papyrus paper, states it as 616.
