I do all the media work for this educational program...did their web site, made a bunch of educational films for them. Well I just found out that they no longer have an media related projects for me until February at the earliest. No income for the next month. Son of a b**ch. This blows.

Since you have experience doing web work and making films I'm assuming you know how to operate a camera and do grip work. Look for some freelance work to tide you over!

Sorry to hear about this, SR but at the same time it's not that bad since you'll have something next month. I hope you have enough savings to help you last til the next paycheck arrives.

Did you really think that doing media things for an education program was steady work? It sounds like freelance type stuff to me, and especially if it's not a big company you should know that they could run out of work at any time.

No, because it wasn't freelance work.

Things like this happening definitely suck. Hopefully you will be able to find something (freelance, etc.) to get funds in the mean time.

...You're assuming he has savings. Just because a person has a job doesn't mean they have savings, or make enough to have a savings.

    That's a total bummer.
I hope you can find something PT to tide you over.
I really should heed this and chill with my own spending.

...sniff... sorry, thinking of that always makes me cry. :(

    Sorry to hear that Steve.
